Beauty Tips
1. Conceal. Having a good concealer is putting a lid on what you don’t want others to see. The whole world does not have to know that you got very little sleep last night. Your concealer can give your face a boost by concealing those dark circles under your eyes. Find one that matches your skin tone and blends easily into your skin. Today’s concealers are formulated to correct Mother Nature’s doing. Use a camouflage brush to apply under your eyes. Gently blend so that your concealer does not tell on you. Then seal by applying loose or pressed powder.
2. Take a spa. While it’s true that there are those who can frequent a spa regularly, there are also those who cannot. But you can always create your own spa at home. Begin by creating a spa environment with scented aromatherapy candles. Pour some fragranced mineral salts into your bath water as you fill up your bath tub. Slip into your sea of forgetfulness for about twenty minutes to rejuvenate your mind, body and soul. You can’t get any better than this at one-third the cost of visiting a spa.
3. Pamper your face with a facial. Be easy on your wallet and give yourself a facial at home. Dampen your skin and apply a cleanser suitable for your skin type. Spend at least 1 minute with gentle upward circular massages to stimulate circulation. Rinse with warm water and pat dry. If you have a steamer, by all means use it to soften your skin so you can easily remove built up debris. If you don’t have a steamer, then you can soak a washcloth in warm water, wring and place over your face for about five minutes. For added pampering, add a few drops of lavender oil to the water for that spa aroma and to combat bacteria.
4. Quench your skin. After all that skin pampering, your face will feel somewhat dry but don’t end there, rehydrate your skin. Using cotton pads, dampen with an alcohol-free toner such as our Visibly Moist Toner and lay them across your forehead, chin and cheeks. Relax and listing to the sound of soft soothing music for about 15 minutes. The benefit of the toner is pulled into your skin leaving it especially dewy.
5. Seal in moisture. Your skin now looks soft, smooth and plumped. Seal in the moisture using our Line-Ease Serum Concentrate. Lightly tap it on your skin until it is absorbed. The skin under your eyes are very thin and is the first place to show signs of aging. Use an eye cream with firming peptides to help stimulate collagen production. Try our Firming Peptide Eye Crème. Gently pat using your ring finger from the inside corner of the eye outward for age-battling power around your eyes.
