Not all surfaces are same. Some are delicate while some are coarse and rough. The delicate surfaces need careful cleaning without any scratches to the surface. For such cleaning purposes microfiber towels, microfiber cleaning cloths, and microfiber mops should be used. Microfiber cleaning cloths are so soft and do not scratch the surface that is cleaned. Ordinary cloths might scratch the surface is used for cleaning. Some of the microfiber towels are charged with static electricity and this helps to attract dust from areas where you can’t reach with your hands. Some delicate surfaces like LCD screens of TVs and monitors should be cleaned with microfiber cleaning cloths. Scratching the surface of LCD screen might damage the screen permanently. Care should be taken not to use the ordinary cloths for cleaning such surfaces.

For cleaning larger surfaces made of glass, marble, or granite you can use microfiber mops. Some of the floors made of marble and granite would look better if cleaned with microfiber mops.
