Hi, before we talk about hair care, I think it would be better if we know the different hair types and identify which one you have. The possible types are normal, dry, oily and combinations. To find your type, you need to shampoo your hair a day before and press a tissue paper against the center scalp area of your head and beneath the ears. If you see oil on the tissue, your hair is an oily type and vice versa for a dry type. If you see oil on the scalp area and no oil beneath the ears, then your hair type is a longhair-main_Fullcombination one. A normal hair is shiny, easy to manage and is healthy for about a week. An oily one is greasy, looks good for a day or two, have more dandruff and is non attractive. A dry hair is lifeless even after a shampoo treatment, more itchy and falls regularly. A combination hair inherits both dry and greasy textures, needs constant shampooing and does not set easily.

After figuring out your type, we need to know the basic routines that would make your hair look great. The routine contains

1. Sulfate free shampoo
2. Hair conditioner
3. Purifying shampoo
4. Deep Conditioner
5. Heat protector

While choosing a shampoo, make sure its sulfate free as it dries out hair, make it weak and cause damage over a long term use. People with colored hair need to be more careful as sulfate drip out moisture and in some cases even strip out hair color. After shampooing, applying conditioners aid in hydrating and repairs damaged hair. It is also best to skip the shampoo routine once a week and try out the purifying shampoo. It removes all the shampoo buildup and really helps the conditioner to soak into hair, saturate and will really improve the hair condition. Using a deep conditioner once a month is also highly recommended. The last and final routine is the heat protector which straightens and protects your hair from excess heat. So, if you are going to follow this hair routine, your hair is going to look much healthier and you will feel as confident as ever.

It is quite natural to see your hair shed off. Every follicle lasts long for some duration after which there is a new growth. But if this shedding occurs at an alarming rate, you must not overlook them. Telogen effluvium is a condition where in you see tremendous shedding of follicles due to shock or a prolonged tension due to death, accident etc. It is difficult to replace your follicles which get damaged from roots. Proper care must be taken in order to avert the condition. Air drying is the best way to manage your follicles rather than use blow dryer. Blow dryer blows a lot of hot air and exposure to excessive heat will damage your shafts. You will soon begin to see split ends and dry mane. Make use of the natural way of drying them and you can use your fingers to style them. Do not brush them when they are still damp.

If you are fascinated about colouring your mane, make use of natural products instead of using chemicals. You can use henna (mehendi), beet root pieces ground well, tea decoction if you like a deeper bergundi colour. Mix all these three ingredients along with oil and apply it. When you use it for two -three times you will soon get a good colour naturally. This will keep your mane shiny and in good health. In addition to this, you also get a good colour without causing damage to your mane. If you have curly locks, you can make them soft by applying mousse or leave in conditioners. This way you can make best use of your curly locks. Rather than straighten it with ironing machines or use chemicals. If you still want that straight mane, you can go ahead with your styling products but make sure you follow the hair care tips well. Use a conditioner after shampooing your mane. You get conditioners and shampoos which are best suited for treated follicles, you can use them.

A New Look Of Egg

We are frequently advised by our doctor that if you have high cholesterol level, you should avoid taking any egg especially the egg yolk. So, most of us will equate taking egg yolk to having heart disease because a high cholesterol level will possibly raise the risk of heart disease. Such fear has been instilled in our mind for the last thirty years.health

Several notable studies have proven that there is actually weak relationship between egg intake and heart disease. Egg white is a source of protein that is rich in essential amino acids. These acids are required for health but not produced by the body and available only through food. The proteins found in eggs can benefit athletes for the extra energy they require, children for their needs for muscle-building and old people for their requirement to arrest muscle decline.

The yellow egg yolk contains lutein that is excellent for protecting the eyes from age-related degeneration and cataract. The lutein found in eggs is three times better absorbed by the body than is lutein from other sources possibly because of other compounds in egg yolk such as lecithin and cholesterol. Egg yolk is also a good source of choline, a vitamin critical for brain and memory development, especially in early life. Choline also protects the heart by converting a molecule in the body that can damage blood vessels called homocysteine into a safer substance.

Does the cholesterol presented in egg yolk pose any threat to our heart? Newer researches have found that eggs contain low level of saturated fat and no trans-fatty acids. For healthy people with generally healthy diet (limiting red meats, fried and processed foods), one or two eggs a day will not really affect the blood’s cholesterol levels. Actually, some researches also reported that eating some amount of egg yolk might even raise levels of healthy fats and prevent formation of blood clots. However, people who are sensitive to cholesterol or who have been advised to cut their dietary cholesterol should still limit their intake of egg yolk or consider lower cholesterol eggs.
