Decorating a Child’s Room
Having kids often means moving to a new house or apartment. The cozy one bedroom located right downtown, close to just about everything is no longer big enough. Moving to a new house or apartment usually means buying at least some furniture. If the space is limited and you have more than one child, bunk beds can make the most of a small space. While you may have to deal with fights over who gets the top bunk, the space saved will be well worth it.
Kids furniture is available from a number of outlets. Most large cities have dedicated children’s furniture stores selling all kinds of bedroom set options. You can also buy it at big box retailers such as IKEA, Target or Wal-Mart. A bed is important, but don’t forget a dresser and night stand as well. While bedroom furniture can be expensive you can usually find things on sale if you search around. Watch your local paper for sales; check outlet stores and even garage sales. Used bedroom furniture sets can be a bargain if you can find one in good condition. Craigslist is often a good site to start your search. Outfitting a kids room does not have to be expensive if you know where to look
