Different techniques of art painting
You can create fine art paintings using any medium. For instance you can use acrylic paints, oil paints and others to finish your masterpiece. Paintings are also done using acrylic colors which is a relatively new medium. While using acrylics, quick planning is essential as these paints can dry quickly. Hence any sort of blending or modeling has to be performed in a quick manner.
This medium can be chosen if your painting does not involve any blending of colors. One important advantage that comes with the use of acrylic paints is that you can use many additives and special effect mediums such as matte and gloss mediums, modeling paste and different types of paint such as fluorescent and iridescent to give better vent to your creativity.
Oil paintings are done using powder pigments mixed with linseed oil. The advantage of using this type of paint is that colors can blend easily and the painter will also have sufficient time to edit the painting in case he chooses to do so. Painting has emerged as a popular hobby to people and one can also make a living from the sale of their paintings if he/she is totally professional in his/her approach.
